We headed toward the Eiffel Tower noting the leisurely pace of the people on this Saturday. It was busy but not congested. We weren't trying to go up into the tower but the lines were very long. If we decide we want to do that we will book online. We walked along the Seine noting the high water level after the recent flooding. The boats can't fit under the bridges. I'm hoping the water recedes enough for us to take a ride on the Seine before we leave.
Cool that you are there at such a historic time! Not cool that it can actually be dangerous and affects tourism. And crazy the river is so high the boats can't go under the bridges! I hope you get some sunny, drier days soon!
