Paris

We arrived in Paris at about 9:50Pm. I was all set to give Uber a try to get from the airport to the city center. It seemed to work but I couldn't find the pick up spot. We eventually hired an unlicensed taxi driver who was great. We probably paid too much but it certainly seemed worth it at the time. My phone's battery was running out of juice and I was having difficulty calling the person who was to let us in to the apartment. Our driver called for me and got us there in good time. It was kind of like Uber anyway it turned out. We will try the Uber app again soon when when can be sure of the pick up location. Our room is small but fine and the AirBnB host is lovely. I'm big on the sharing economy!
